How we fund our work and what happens if funding falls short.

Current position
The Foundation is in establishment and has no funding secured. Year one programmes depend on grants and donations.
Funding sources
Grants from philanthropic foundations and health promotion funders, donations, and partnerships that meet our fundraising and gift acceptance policy. We do not take funding tied to promoting commercial products.
Programmes run only when funded
Each programme starts only when its funding is confirmed in writing. If funding is partial, the board scales the programme down rather than commit money it does not have.
Beyond year one
The board aims for no single funder to provide more than half of income by year three, and reviews a three year funding plan every year.
