Regional scholarships 2027

Apply for a funded place.

Ten funded places in 2027 for practitioners in regional, remote and low income communities. The round runs April to June 2027. Applications sent earlier are held and assessed when it opens. It takes about 15 minutes.

Before you start, have ready

  • Your registration number, if you are registered
  • Your practice postcode
  • A few sentences on why you want the training
  • Optional: your résumé and a letter of support

1. About you

So we can contact you about your application.

Which place are you applying for? If you are eligible for more than one, choose the one that fits best. We will consider you for every place you are eligible for.
Do you identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander? This is voluntary. We ask so we can fill the places set aside for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health workers.

2. Your profession and registration

We check registration on the public register before offering a place.

Are you registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency?
Three letters followed by ten numbers, for example MED0001234567. You can find it on the public register.

3. Where you work

Places are for practitioners serving regional, remote or low income communities.

4. Your application

Short answers are fine. Plain language is welcome. You do not need to write a formal essay.

For example: fewer referrals out of town, earlier diagnosis, a clinic you plan to run.
How confident do you feel now in recognising and managing genitourinary, pelvic and sexual health conditions of menopause?
Can you take part in the full training?

5. Support from your workplace

A short note from your manager or practice principal helps, but is not essential.

Document or image file. All attachments together must be under 8 megabytes.

6. Declarations

Please read and tick each one.

Do you have any financial or commercial interest in a menopause, hormone, supplement or women's health product or service? This includes paid work, speaking fees, shares or sponsorship. It includes any link to School of Sexual Wellness Pty Ltd. A yes will not automatically rule you out.
