Risk management

How we identify and manage risks.

Draft for board adoption. This policy will be reviewed and adopted by the board at its first meeting, then reviewed every year. Questions? Use our contact form.

Risk register

We keep a register of our main risks: participant safety, clinical accuracy, privacy and data, funding, conflicts of interest, reputation, and key person dependence on our founder.

Review

Each risk has an owner, a rating and actions. The board reviews the register at every meeting and in full once a year.

Insurance

Before programmes open, we will hold public liability, professional indemnity, directors and officers liability, cyber and volunteer personal accident insurance, workers compensation once we employ staff, and asset insurance at replacement value for any equipment we own. Certificates will be available to funders on request.
