Policy
Clinical governance
How clinical content is checked and approved.
Draft for board adoption. This policy will be reviewed and adopted by the board at its first meeting, then reviewed every year. Questions? Use our contact form.
Education only
Our programmes are education. They do not diagnose or treat. Every resource and workshop says so, and encourages women to see their doctor.
Approving content
- Every resource is written in plain language and every clinical claim is sourced.
- Each resource is reviewed by a registered clinician before publication, and signed off by the clinical director.
- Resources are reviewed at least every two years, or sooner if guidance changes.
- Content aligns with the Australasian Menopause Society and national clinical guidelines.
Workshops
Every workshop is co-led by a registered clinician working within their scope of practice. Facilitators follow a script for when to refer a woman to her doctor or to urgent care.
Incidents
Any concern about clinical accuracy or safety is logged, reviewed by the clinical director within five business days, and reported to the board.
